I’m still here.

Hi all. I had made a commitment along with Kate that I’d be more active in writing. We both decided blogging would be a great way to do this. However, I lost my muse for writing fictional stories, but not for writing posts on role play message boards. I have been actively writing, and I have kept my commitment. Here are some posts I have written in the past few weeks:

Iwan knew Thorne’s attention was broken the moment he entered that room. The door was heavy, and loud. When it slammed shut behind Iwan Rhydderch it was sure to send a sound out to seemingly echo the room. Thorne’s eyes trailed around to meet to Iwan’s, and Iwan took a step or two to the side and moved his head as he dropped his hand to align with Thorne. Thorne spoke, he seemed a bit tired, but he still managed to make Iwan to give a smirk.

Thorne and Iwan were on a date. He was sure it was going to be something Thorne would tease Iwan about publicly, or even in private if they remained friends after this ordeal. Iwan would probably bring it up as a joke once or twice. But, they’d have to be careful how they joke around about it, or the entire school would be abuzz in what is going on inbetween the two. Even though Hogwarts School of Witcraft and Wizardry was a large school, gossip seemed to travel fast through the houses. First it’d be the students in the same year of the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor houses that would grow curious, then the Hufflepuffs would find out, and their shy eyes would peak up from their books. Finally, the Snakes would find out and then come forth to harass them, before the professors begin to snicker about it, after they pass in the halls.

The young Iwan Gareth Rhydderch was able to pace around the room easily, his leg was now healed from the quill lodged in it from a few weeks previous. He twisted his body sharply, to turn around and walk away from Thorne. It was a wonder to Iwan, when he would reflect on the day’s matters, of how he ended up at this point and with a boy such as Thorne Jackson Altec. “A picnic would be such a nice second date! Wouldn’t you think? Temperance would die when I told her I went on a picnic date out in the gardens.” Iwan understood Thorne’s face change, but Iwan accepted and enjoyed the humor. Iwan continued to gaze at the sights of the room, it was exactly as he described earlier.

There was no wasted time until questions arose, “Okay. You, get it through your nimble skull.” Iwan turned back around facing Thorne, and he continued his mini-rant, “I told you this before, Temperance would give you a chance, just because she believes in the spirit of it. You just need to make sure you don’t blow the chance.” Iwan’s smirk turned into a slight smile, as he was speaking the truth. “I really don’t know how to tell it is working or not. Just be honest with Temperance, and watch her smile. She will smile wildly if she enjoys what is currently happening. She’s very outgoing, so she may tell you what is going on.

The fifteen year old had to try his best to teach Thorne, as he made that a promise. And, he wondered if Temperance Bennett would be a good fit for this sixth year, regardless of the few year age difference. But, it was a distraction Iwan so desperately needed. “Hmm…” he mumbled for a second, trying to think of what to say or do next. “Watch her face, man, her face, over everything else. Her face gives away everything she is thinking… kind of. Don’t be afraid to let her lead if you find lost. Yeah, I know its not manly, but, its worth it. Tempe and girls like her are strong persons.

Iwan Rhydderch gave a wide grin and paced in a circle around Thorne Jackson. “How would I describe you? I’d say fearless. Courageous. Strong-willed. Somewhat lionhearted. You even have a humorous and fun side. And you’re hot. These things are you. Don’t hide either one of them from her. If you do, you’d come off as superficial. She doesn’t like that. Be yourself, be out there. But, keep the image, that you are willing to slow down for her, to her pace. You can do this by listening to her suggestions and not rejecting them.

Another:

It was surprisingly fast. The nurse called both of the boys at the same time. She assigned them to two new recently freed beds. This was perhaps luck, or more bad luck. But, Iwan Rhydderch did not mind Thorne Jackson at the time. It provided an easy source of entertainment, and besides he wanted to know more about Temperance and he couldn’t deny the chance. Iwan understood it was not his place to stop Thorne’s chance with her. If he had a chance, it was up to Temperance.

He carefully walked over, keeping the leg with the quill lodged inside very still as he moved. It seemed as if he was creating his own limp, but, he got across the room to the beds with minimal pain. He hopped up on the bed, bending his leg slowly to sit up. He laid his legs flat in front of him. The nurse took the time to examine Iwan before Thorne. Iwan did not go to the hospital wing very often, so the nurse probably did not easily recognize him by his face. She wasted no time examining the damaged leg. The nurse touched the skin around the leg, gently pushing down. Iwan exhaled sharply, as it caused pain. She left his bed and went to go check on the person in the bed next to him.

Thorne took off his shirt and hopped into his hospital bed. He used his wand to spray mist on him, creating some fake sweat. The fake sweat was a brilliant idea. Iwan wish he would have thought of that a few years back when he was struggling in Charms class. He would have loved to miss a test. Then again, at that time he probably would summon boiling water mist instead burning his skin. The nurse left Iwan and went to inspect Thorne. After Thorne’s little parade saying he has a virus, and the fake sweat that looked pretty realistic. He would have been convinced, if Thorne did not tell him if he was faking.

The teenager, Iwan Rhydderch listened to Thorne as he answered his question with another question and an answer to them. Iwan was told to just simply brag about the hotness of Thorne. Iwan couldn’t help but to laugh, and he could not say anything to Thorne about calling himself hot. Iwan was the one whom called Thorne hot, and now Iwan had to live with that fact. He turned his head to the side to give Thorne an awkward glance at him speaking of them both being guys, and can do things around guys with no consequence. He asked Iwan to teach him how to be the perfect boyfriend for someone like Temperance.

Iwan was unsure of how he could describe Temperance’s desire in a boy. He knew Temperance would look for certain things, mainly for someone being himself over being someone else. “Honestly,” Iwan paused thinking it through again, “Be yourself around her. She doesn’t like fake, she believes in the spirit.” Iwan smiled softly, Thorne defiantly had spirit. Thorne was defiantly himself and not a fake person. As long as he kept that up, he believed Thorne perhaps stood a chance. “If Tempe does fall for you, you better not destroy her.” He was dead serious, Temperance did not like rejection. It would hurt her, “I’d find you anyway. I know what you look like.

Thorne hopped from his hospital bed and came over to Iwan’s bed and grabbed his hand and made a speech. He thanked Iwan for going to help him with this. He spoke about how being a guy defiantly wasn’t easy and Iwan agreed with a simple nod. Iwan pulled his hand away after a few seconds, wondering if Thorne really is delirious. It was questionable now, maybe Thorne was really sick without knowing it, or was acting in a fine way. “Welling to mold for Tempe. She’d like that… for sure, it shows dedication I think. But, I’m sure she wants you to be yourself.

The sixth year lion placed his hand on Iwan’s thigh, Iwan ignored it, passing it off as just a brush of the hand. He did not think about it any more then it needed to be thought about. Thorne asked for the first lesson, hopefully after the leg is fixed. Iwan firstly replied, “Well. Maybe after you’re feeling better. This, what you’re doing seems very out of character for you. You sure you’re not delirious with a fever or something?” He was positive that Thorne was faking, but he wasn’t sure what exactly was going on in that moment.

“You know what? I’ll give you your first tip now. First date, if she accepts, should not be inside the castle. Try outside, in the garden or something. She’s very connected with nature. She’s a free spirit.” Temperance did not believe in establishment. Iwan felt she would feel more comfortable outside on a nice date, instead of inside of the castle. Temperance would have wanted something loose, something more open. Nature was fun for her.

I have written quite a few more, these were only a sample of two. Yes, they may seem to be odd, but, I think they turned out alright. At least I’m writing… right?
